I chose to blog about the online pinboard referred to as Pinterest. An online pinboard-style site, Pinterest allows users to share pictures, ideas and recipes by posting them on the site. Users then "re-pin" or "like" a post and can create a pinboard to track. As another artifact of populare culture, I like Pinterest because it actually has a purpose. Busy moms can search for quick dinner ideas to a unique and inexpensive craft to make on a rainy day.Pinterest allows users to "re-pin" Founded in 2009 by Ben Silberman, Paul Sciarra and Evan Sharp. Pinterest was originally a closed beta (invitation only) site. As another portal to social media, Pinterst has become a "go to" for pictures, recipes and yes even ideas if your interested in getting your first tattoo.
